 Pro search tips
Loose search Example input: content marketing
This is the default. Specifying just a term searches for the words specified in the title. Also known as article search.
Exact search Example input: "content marketing"
Searches in the title field for items matching in the exact order specified in the quoted string.
Domain search Example inputs:
  • content marketing keywords: email marketing, influencers
  • "content marketing" keywords: email marketing, influencers
  • content marketing keywords: email marketing, influencers hubspot.com

First 2 inputs search for loose and exact title of article that have 2 different keywords. The 3rd does a similar search, but restricts it to the specified domain suffix.
Author search with deep search and domain search Example inputs:
  • content marketing author: hubspot, yahoo
  • content marketing keywords: email marketing, influencers author: hubspot, yahoo
  • "content marketing" keywords: email marketing, influencers author: hubspot, yahoo
  • content marketing keywords: email marketing, influencers author: hubspot, yahoo hubspot.com

These example inputs are similar to above deep search, but include an additional authors filter.
Exact search + Loose search combination (prefix/suffix) Example input:
  • "content marketing" social media
  • social media "content marketing"

This would include results with titles containing the terms in the loose search query in any order and the terms in the exact search query in the exact order specified in the quoted string.
Minus sign (-) to exclude topics Example input:
  • content marketing -wordpress
  • social media -techcrunch.com

Specifying just a term with a minus sign prefix would exclude results containing that word. Specifying a domain prefixed with a minus sign would exclude results from that particular domain.
Plain domain/URL search Example input:
  • techcrunch.com
  • http://lifestylica.com/curry-leaves-benefits/

Enter a domain to see the most shared content on that site, or enter a full URL to check just that page.
